The Norman Sillman heraldic emblem of the 'Welsh Dragon' reverse was originally introduced in 1995 with the Maklouf third portrait on the obverse.

Sp#J15 Regular Proof: Issued as part of the 13-coin Millennium silver proof collections as well as being available individually. Issue limit: 40,000.


Sp#J15A Reverse Frosted Proof: Issued as part of a 2-coin set which included the 1999 Scottish Lion reverse frosted silver proof. Issue limit: 2,000 (taken from regular proof mintage above).


The design was was also struck in nickel-brass and silver piedfort.
