Obverse

Mainly identical with type 1, but there are added more security features.
Dark brown and black on red background.
On the right side multiple anchors and a double portrait of the artists Anna & Michael Ancher with text ”ANNA & MICHAEL ANCHER” and a palette.
Upper left the star is replaced with a Hologram showing a ”M (for thousand) or palette above ”1000”.
The numbers and signatures are printed with luminous colors. Furthermore, the main motif from the reverse is printed with ultraviolet color and can only be seen in ultraviolet light.

Reverse

Red background.
At the left, a tournament scene from Bislev Church in northern Jutland. Behind them, 3 arches with different squares in yellow and red colors.
On the right side, an orange circle surrounding the watermark. In the orange circle is the serial specification. Inside the circle, a lot of smaller orange circles. The orange color is luminous.

Black hidden security thread.
Partly visible metallic security thread ”window thread” with ”1000 KR”
Micro print. On the obverse is ”1000 KR” printed around the watermark in micro print, and several other places micro print are used in different sizes.

Middle two digits of Serial-number give the printing year: B3062H Prefix B3, year (20)06.

The Left signature is one of the Govenors for Denmarks National Bank. The right signature is the Chief Cashier.

Type 2 has a hologram with microprint and lumiscent colours. The obverse has an invisible print of the main motive on the reverse, only visible in UV light. The serial numbers, the signatures and the main colours of the obvers' motive.
