Released by the RAM is this Fine Silver (.999) Proof version of the Great Aussie Coin Hunt series of coins that were also issued in  Aluminium-bronze in change, tubes & coincards at Australia Post outlets. This silver coin was issued in a capsule in a 26 coin cased set, with limited edition of mintage 250, with certificate. These were retailed at $1250 but are now fetching much higher prices on the secondary market.
 

This coin is the Letter "A" for Australia Post. It is hard to imagine Australia without Australia Post. We see the iconic Red Street Posting boxes in every town, we love visits from our local posties and there is no better feeling than when our online shopping arrives.
