Comments

The coin also incorporates a transparent locket containing three granules of pure Australian gold weighing a minimum of 0.50g.
Glittering gold - its allure is legendary. Sought after for more than 7,000 years, it is a symbol of ageless splendour, wealth and power. in the second half of the nineteenth century Australian prospectors discovered gold in large quantities, making two of the world's most prolific strikes in the states of Victoria and Western Australia. Still one of the world's largest producers, Australia's gold is used in the creation of precious coins, gold bars and beautiful jewellery.
