Comments

"Period texts do mention large whites (and not whites) so by analogy we also have small whites (Dy# 446). If they were whites, we would have half whites. The last coins of Henry VI to be minted on French soil were minted shortly before 29 October 1449, the date on which Rouen was taken from the English.
