Multiple years exists with and without beads, including 1933,1935, and 1946. Some coins exhibit faint tracing of beads.

For the 1946 dated coins:13,423,000 were minted in the Philadelphia Mint and 3,330,000 were minted in the San Francisco Mint.

In 1947, 23,247,000 were minted in the San Francisco Mint.

Varieties exist for 1950 B: small 50 in date, large 50 in date (scarce), and very large 50 in date (rare).
