The Barbados Golden Shield of Arms with 2 Pride of Barbados national flowers and the Bearded Fig tree. Flanking the shield are the dolphin symbolic of the fishing industry and the Pelican, after Pelican Island. Above the shield are a helmet and mantling. On a wreath is the arm and hand of a Bajan holding two crossed pieces of sugar cane symbolizing the sugar industry.
