The RAM has released this BU coin in a series of coins celebrating Australia's Railway Heritage. This coin titled Steam Power is the first of seven iconic locomotives to celebrate the golden age of Australian steam. Covering more than a century of steam travel, the story of the railways in opening up the country and putting us on a path to federation and a modern Australia is told by this exciting new collection.

This first coin in the series of seven coins highlights the iconic 'Queensland Rail A10 No. 6'.

It was issued in capsule in a credit card sized coincard.


A special folder that can hold all 7 coins was also issued with the first coin.
