Three- quarter length figure of Saint Cunigunde, crowned and nimbate, and holding a scepter in her left hand, and a model of a church in her right hand.

Translation: Saint Cunigunde, empress
Cunigunde of Luxembourg was the wife of Holy Roman Emperor Henry II, and crowned empress on February 14, 1014. After Henry's death, she lived at Kaufungen Abbey in Hessen, which she had founded, and where she died in 1040.
In 1201 she was canonized a saint of the Roman Catholic Church. The model of the church is probably Bamberg cathedral, where she is buried.
