Comments

NOTE: According 2018 Standard Catalog of World Coins, 1901-2000, 45th Edition, theres is an error in the Subject of the coin "Rossell’s Manual Digest, 150th Anniversary" instead of 250th Anniversary.

The Manual Digest book, written in 1748 by Antoni Fiter i Rossell, is the compilation of the history, the government and the uses and customs of Andorra. It is popularly known as the Andorran Bible. In the Manual Digest the Andorran historical archives are transcribed, beginning with the documents of Charlemagne and Ludovico Pío. In addition, it collects a whole series of sayings and moral norms under the name of "maxims". It is a continuation of traditional Catalan customary law, based on Roman and canon law and initiated in the Usatges of Barcelona.
