Comments

The Churriana Euro set was minted by the Spanish Royal Mint (Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre, FNMT), in order to be used for the first trial run in Europe before the introduction of the euro. This trial run took place in Churriana, a neighbourhood of Málaga, between September 30th and October 3rd, 1998.
