Comments

Barely larger than the domestic cat, Vulpes lagopus, the Arctic fox, is a silent and skilful hunter. The animal has an exceptionally efficient coat that keeps it warm at temperatures as low as -50°C. In summer, its coat varies in hue from brown to grayish-brown and bluish-gray, sometimes dark. During the long months of Arctic winter, most foxes are immaculately white, although some populations have a pale blue-gray winter coat. The canid's thick fur covers its small, rounded ears and paw pads for optimum protection against the cold.

Packaging:
The coin is encapsulated and presented in a padded burgundy double-shell case adorned with the Royal Canadian Mint logo. The packaging is protected by an elegant black box.Automatically translated
