Date of issue: 11 JAN 2009

The Vitebsky Railway Station in Saint Petersburg was built of wood in 1832 for the first railway line which connected Saint Petersburg with Tsarskoye Selo and Pavlovsk. The now days edifice of Vitebsky Railway Station was erected in 1904 in the modern style by project of architects S.A. Brzhovsky and S.I. Minash.
