King Chikka Devaraja Wodeyar (1673-1704)of Mysore also issued 1/2 Kasu (total 12 coins)similar to the 1 Kasu coins. Only the weight & size were reduced
One hand-struck 1/2 Kasu coin each year during his reign was issued, indicating completion of one year of his rule.

Thus the Kannada numeral 1 was struck on the coin in the year 1674. Similarly in 1675 he issued a coin with the numeral 2 indicating that he completed the second year of his rule.

In total he struck 12 coins. In this series the eleventh (11) coin was struck in the year 1684. Subsequently this was discontinued.

The twelve coin was issued only in 1698. This had the Kannada Numeral 25 on it indicating the completion of 25 years of reign (Silver Jubilee)
