Joseph YAM Chi-kwong (born 1948, Hong Kong) is a Hong Kong statistician, economist and civil servant. He was the first Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Hong Kong's de facto central bank, holding the position for 16 years. He designed the first "Bauhinia" coins that replaced coins bearing the Queen's Head coins in Hong Kong starting 1993.
