Comments

After the election of Violeta Chamorro in 1990 and the gradual fall of the Sandinistas in the 1990s, the Córdoba was redenominated at a rate of 1 Córdoba "Oro" = 5,000,000 "old" Córdobas. These coins replaced the 10 Centavos banknote in 1994.
