Comments

1/3 Thaler = 8 Groschen = 96 Pfennig

The Berlin mint, which had ceased production of this 1/3 thaler in 1775, issued a very small quantity of 1/3 thaler in 1780. The coin from 1780 was struck on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Friedrich II's reign. The coin from 1786 A was issued at the death of Friedrich II.
