John Flanagan (1865–1952)was a sculptor who was known for his designs for coins and medals.
William C. Cousins born in Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) the 13 July 1930. Staff sculptor at the Franklin Mint (1967-1990), rose from art director to director of sculpture, where the firm claimed he heads "the largest studio of medallists in the world." He joined the U.S. Mint in 1990 as staff engraver and retired a decade later in 2000.

Norman E. Nemeth was born in Newport News, Virginia. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1961, where he served as a jet mechanic. After being discharged, he attended the Hartford Art School of the University of Hartford. Following graduation, he spent eleven years as a designer-sculptor for the Franklin Mint.
