Obverse

This token was in use in the early 1940's and shows Samson destroying the Temple of Dagon by pushing the pillars apart, an arch behind all within plain circle.
Bible : Book of Judges, about 1120 BC - Chapter XVI:
29. And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and the other with his left.
30. And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew with his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

Type B - legends are divided by a figure with two diamonds on both sides.
Type C - legends are divided by cut rhombus on side with Samson and by small crosses on the other side.
