12 Sided Smooth

Royal Australian Mint issued this NCLT coin as a tribute to those who served on the Western Front. The Western Front was a 760 kilometre stretch of land where Australian Diggers spent three years fighting Imperial Germany. In 1917, they pursued the Germans to the Hindenburg Line, and fought them at third battle of Ypres in Belgium. In 1918, they valiantly defended the city of Amiens.
This coin is part of the "Australians at War" 18 coin series being issued individually.
