Did you know?
- The adoption of Canada's national flag was proposed long ago, in the late
century, but to no avail. It wasn't until Prime Minister Lester B. Pearson revived the idea in 1964.
- After a long and heated debate, Parliament adopted the national flag of Canada in 1964. At the stroke of noon on Parliament Hill on February 15, 1965, the Canadian Red Ensign (formerly the flag of Canada) was lowered and replaced by the flag we know today.
- According to the official description, the national flag is red, with a white square at its center, adorned with a red maple leaf.
- The pattern is symmetrical, so that if the flag is folded in half vertically, the two halves are identical!
- The maple leaf has long been a symbol of Canada, while red and white have been present on the country's coat of arms since a proclamation by King George V in 1921. According to official flag-flying regulations, the National Flag of Canada must never touch the ground.

The set is presented in a genuine leather booklet, so you can display your pieces in style.Automatically translated
