Comments

- Mint name on reverse is Murshidabad but coins minted in Calcutta
- This coin can be identified by a 'star' added to the left of obverse AND a tiny letter 'S' on the reverse (Pridmore# 176)
- The mark 'S' on the reverse may indicate George Saunders, Master of the Calcutta mint 1816-1830 or to signify the new Standard (increased weight in the rupee).
- Weight increased to 12.43 grams, silver percentage lowered to 88.8%
