Engraver: P.K.K. Quaidoo

Royal Mint (Tower Hill), London, United Kingdom (1810-1975)

Two types are known.
Die 1 - low relief, less hair on the portrait, thin script.
Die 2 - high relief, more hair on the portrait, thick script.
Die A -  thin script.
Die B - script slightly thicker.
1. 1+A
2. 2+B

Nkrumah disliked the samples of the type 1+A, for they show him almost bald. The  dies were re-engraved so portrait shows more hair
