Comments

Every year, beginning with the opening of the Yellowhead Highway in 1970, "Souvenir Dollars" were issued and sold to tourists who visited the popular resort town of Jasper, deep within the eponymous Jasper National Park. One side always displayed the portrait of the town's mascot Jasper the Bear; the other side changed every year.
