This Copper-nickel NCLT 50 cent coin was released by the RAM in a Coincard to celebrate the birth of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge second child HRH Princess Charlotte.

The birth was met with the same level of celebration and joy world-wide, as the birth of Prince George. The reverse of the coin depicts baby building blocks, symbolic of the family in which the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are building together. The coin design is given an Australian touch with the inclusion of golden wattle to represent the strong relationship between the Royal Family and Australia.

Australia Post also released the coin in a PNC. (9,000 Copies)
