100th Anniversary of the "Cry for Independence"
Obverse
Eagle with open wings exposing chest, eating a snake with head turned right, standing on a cactus growing out of a rock in the middle of a lake.
With lettering around it and denomination at the base of the cactus. And at bottom semi-circle a laurel and olive branches tied together.
Emblem used during Porfirio Diaz dictatorship, colloquially known as "Porfirian Eagle".

Charles Pillet 
Charles Pillet was a French sculptor and engraver.
Born in Paris, Pillet was a pupil of Henri-Michel-Antoine Chapu and Jules-Clément Chaplain. He won the first Grand Prix de Rome engraving medals 1890. He became a member of the Société des Artistes Français in 1898. The Louvre preserves a letter he wrote to Eugène Delacroix.
Reverse
Liberty riding a horse. On her right hand an oak branch and on her left a flaming torch, with the sun rising on the horizon.
Commemorates the 100th Anniversary of Miguel Hidalgo's Grito de Dolores, which started the War of Independence from Spain.
