Comments

The second commemorative coin issued by Belgium in 2016 is dedicated to the International Day of the Disappeared Children. It advertises the Charitable Foundation Child Focus, an organization that works with missing or sexually exploite children and young people.
May 25 is the International Day of the Disappeared Children, an initiative that began in 1982 in the United States after the disappearance of a 6-year-old in New York. Since then more countries have been gradually joining in and in 2005 the European Union also supported the initiative.
