Comments

Davenport estimates the mintage of this rare pattern at just 75 to 200, as the type was struck following a monetary conference held in Bern in 1825 between the cantons of Basel, Freyburg, Solothurn, Argau, and Vaud, but the respected European auction houses of Kunker and Sincona list a mintage of only 75 examples for the issue.
