Mendeleyev Periodic System of Elements and its purity, to the right in two lines – the indication of the fine metal content and the mint trade mark, on bottom in the centre in two lines – the denomination of the coin: "100 РУБЛЕЙ" (100 ROUBLES) and the date: "2014 г." (2014).

On matted sections of the disc – genre scenes of the winter amusements of common people: above – ride by hound relay and the take by storm of a snow fortress, below – swimming in the ice hole and playing snow balls, to the left in two lines – the inscription: "СОЧИ" (SOCHI) and the date: "2014", under them – five Olympic rings, on mirror curved stripes dividing the matted sections with the genre scenes – figures of crowded people with winter outwear on watching at what is going on.
