Comments

Know as a Kammerherrentaler (Chamberlain Thaler). This designation originated from the unusual abbreviation "FR.WILH.III K.V.PREUSS." instead of "FRIEDR.WILHELM III KOENIG VON PREUSSEN" on type KM# 396, which is said to have displeased the king. He is said to have demanded a change in the circumscription on the grounds that "people might think I am the Chamberlain of Preuss."
