Coins from the Duchy of Tuscany

In 574, after the Lombards took Tuscany's area from the Byzantines, the Duchy of Tuscany was founded. The Duchy minted its own pseudo-imperial coins for many years, but as time went by, the coins became sloppy, smaller, and wider. In 680, the Byzantines were officially pushed out of the Tuscany's area, and afterwards, the Duchy joined their coinage with Lombardy Proper.
