Argentina 100 Pesos Eva Peron [solved]

8 posts • viewed 150 times
I am using website https://en.numista.comas a guideline for my collection of Argentina 100 Pesos Eva Peron.

For that money on the website it says that for the J suffix, there is an issue in b.1 Series with the signatures of MMP and ABo and there is another issue for the J suffix in b.2 Series with the signatures of JCF and ABo.

I am searching on internet especially on eBay, but couldnt find the J suffix in b.1 Series with the Signatures of MMP and ABo.

I would like to learn if there is an issue of J suffix in b.1 Series with the signatures of MMP and ABo or it was wirtten by mistake?

Thanks you very much.

I think generally when there is a change of signature in Argentina, they change the suffix letter also. That is not to say that the "J" was not used for both b.1 and b.2. One way you could do a check is look at the serial numbers. If the "J" suffix comes with low serial numbers in b.2 then there most likely is not a "J" suffix in b.1. If there is an absence of low serial numbers with b.2 it is possible that the low serial numbers exist with b.1 and "J". I find this highly unlikely. I think in reality that as you surmise that it could be a mistake.
