year line issue [solved]

according to Numista's catalog guidelines
-- Specify the year of minting in the selected calendar, if it is shown on the coin. Note that the year of minting may be different from the year the coin was released into circulation.

so there are 3 "year"s:
the year of minting
the year of coin put into circulation/market
the year on the coin

I have two questions
1) if "the year of minting" is what it literally means, then for a coin released into circulating on January 15th 1999, it is hard to tell it is minted in December 1998 or January 1999. Also "the year of minting" is not important in this context.
2) what should the year line be for these 2 coins:
this coin is released into circulation in 2006, but the date on the coin is 2008
this coin is released into circulation in 2021, but the date on the coin is 2022

or "the year shown on the coin" is a better name for "the year of minting", then the two questions get solved.
Hello

This was recently re-discussed and the guidelines need an update to reflect this new feature:

The year on the coin should be in the dateline. If the minting year is different, it can be specified in brackets. Here are some examples:

I feel a bit stupid.
How do you add a dateline AND brackets at the same time?
You enter the date shown on the coin in the normal field than check ND and enter the actual date in both fields (either the same number for a single year or different ones for a date range).

That's how I thought it is done and it looked promising, but as soon as I was sending the request and looked at the resulting page, it showed ND with the year range besides. So the year I entered just turned into "ND". The year range was fine tho.
Nobody can own the year of course this only works on creation or if nobody owns it. Otherwise a catalog admin has to do that change.
EDIT: Hmm even on creation it doesn't work ... but it did when the feature was implemented.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was talking about. Sorry if that was incomprehensible.
