MY SALES . Cheap bulk lots of medieval coins, rare issuers, silver, Russian Empire, Rus' Principalities, Kievan Rus', errors etc.
This question and the word 'exact' don't go well together ... it depends.
Depending on your definitions.
Well it depends on who’s asking because it depends on which country recognises who.
Hi to whoever is reading this. Did you know that TYPEWRITER is the longest word you can type using only the letters on one row of the keyboard.

This Wikipedia page might help you. But there is no correct exact answer, especially if you want to account for dependent territories. Because there are a lot of differences depending on who and where you are asking.

Do you consider Kosovo an independent country? What about Northern Cyprus? Palestine? Western Sahara? Taiwan? Transnistria? Abkhazia? Even Israel and Armenia? Etc.
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Territorial_claims_in_Antarctica for a list of possible territories although an international treaty prevents countries to enforce recognition of the territories. The claims of France, Chile and Argentina should not be regarded as countries because they are parts of larger jurisdictions. The Sovereign Military Order of Malta is also a debatable case. It has diplomatic recognition of many countries, issues its own stamps and coins, and has observer status at the UN but has no real territory, just ownership of 2 buildings in Rome.

According to the World Atlas there are 195 universally recognized countries (193 members of the UN plus two non-member observer states: The Vatican and Palestine). Although apparently the US does not recognize Palestine, but instead recognizes Kosovo.

The world atlas is wrong then lol. There are loads of countries without universal recognition.
