Hello, please remove year 2007 from N#206030 . Year 2007 belongs to #P17, not #P26. Thanks

Yes, 2007 should be removed. We should also consider at least mentioning the three variants for this single P#:

2009: Horizontal serial number

2013: Vertical serial number

2015-2017: Horizontal lines for sight-impaired at left and right

All can be seen here.

The 10 dirham P#27 has similar variants:

2009: Horizontal serial number

2013: Vertical serial number

2015-2017: Horizontal lines for sight-impaired at left and right

The 20 dirham P#28 has two variants:

2009-2013: Without horizontal lines

2015-2016: Horizontal lines for sight-impaired at left and right

The 50 dirham P#29 has an additional change in the arms:

2004-2008: First arms

2011: Second arms

2014-2016: Second arms and horizontal lines for sight-impaired at left and right

The 100 dirham P#30 is already split into two but we need to mention the distinct arms in 2008 (P#30d).

The 200 dirham P#31 is marked to be split and has three variants:

2004: First arms

2008: Second arms

2015-2017: Second arms and horizontal lines for sight-impaired at left and right

The 500 dirham has two entries (called P#24 and P#32) with overlapping dates which need sorting out. The variants are for P#32 are:

2004-2008: First arms

2011: Second arms

2015-2017: Second arms and horizontal lines for sight-impaired at left and right

The 1000 dirham P#33 has four variants:

2006: First arms

2008: Second arms

2012: Second arms in hologram

2015-2017: Second arms in hologram and horizontal lines for sight-impaired at left and right

Year line 2007 fixed and moved to P# 19 (rather than P#17 😉 )

Can you also take a look at the various issues I raised or should I start another thread?

We can discuss this here, no need for a new thread.

I guess it could be worth splitting them.

For now, I added the variations as line comment for all to help distinguish. I also changed the dates for all to Hijri calendar (with conversion) as both have Hijri and Gregorian dates.

  • 10 dirham: I removed 27b as no evidence it exists.
  • 500 dirham: P#24 and P#32 - I merged lines 24c and 32a to start with (same note). From what I understand the change between both references #24 and #32 comes from holographic stripe variant. Anything else here?

Yes, those modifications give collectors all the relevant information. I agree that P#32a should go wth P#24c. Many thanks.

As to splitting, we need to decide what is important enough to generate a split. We've got the movement of a serial number, a change to the holographic strip, a change in the arms and the addition of a hologram to the arms. For me, the only one not worthy of a split is the movement of a serial number but I'm sure others will disagree. I'd definitely like to see the other changes split. I know it generates a lot of similar notes but I doubt I'm the only type collector that would want one of each.
