Yes, why didn't you search them yourself.. this took me 10 seconds.

Hello there! I am a coin referee for Sweden and love collecting old coins! Happy coin collecting! 🪙

Yes I looked at that obviously but it seems that there are no circulating coins only commemorative coins. I ment only regular coins?? Like Luxembourg or Andova!??

Nice coin. …but maybe my quest to get coins from every European country might have hit a snag. …

I'm thinking Liechtenstein may be the only country that only made coins that were silver or gold.  No non-precious composition at all.

Are there any others?

Hello

Liechtenstein has a monetary agreement / union with Switzerland and used the Swiss Franken as normal circulation coins.

Same as for me - nothing worth having under $100.

Yes exactly. I don't really collect uncirculated coins. Just Ordinary coins. I've just to get something from Vatican City to Complete my first goal. ..I'm sure thay have circulated coins? 🤔🙂

Vatican and San Marino both had lire coins that circulated throughout Italy. I still have a San Marino 500 I got out of circulation around 1985.

That is an inexpensive bi-metalic. You can get all the years for a few dollars each.

Liechtenstein is another story.

the 1924 silver Francs and the earlier Kroner clearly circulated, but they are all genuinely scarce and valuable.

A few years after the introduction of Euro coins (and banknotes), the EU commission forced the non-EU countries that have the Euro as currency (Vatican, Monaco, San Marino) to issue Euro coins into actual circulation. IIRC, they must put 51% of the value allocated to mint (Andorra is now also part of the agreement) into circulation coins. The remaing value can be used for NCLT coins. Clearly, someone at the EU commission was pretty upset that the three countries didn't issue circulation coins in the early years of the Euro (San Marino was not as bad as the other two) after the intial release of some circulation coinage in 2002.

Therefore, the Vatican has begun to put (Vatican) 50 Cent coins into actual circulation since 2010. Mintage of these 50 cent coins is usually around 2 million pieces. Although I personally have never found one yet I have seen Vatican 50c coins picked from circulation at fellow collectors.

Yeah they are hard to find alright.

I’ve got one coin from Lichtenstein a one kroner there are also a set of three notgeld notes

In my Liverpool home

I'm interested..please look at my swaps.

If a notgeld note is acceptable for your every-country collection, they are available on that auction site in the $20-50 range.

I think I want some of those myself.

No… the coin is good though.

Andorra coins also never circulated before the Euro.

Vatican and San Marino circulation coins were also scarce after the 1940s. Vatican have seen none and San Marino have only heard about circulation types  from Italian coin collectors, As per San Marino  monetary museum they did not really circulate .

Vatican and San Marino euro coins like 50c circulate, ANodrra all Euro types circulate and Monaco only ½ Euros circulate . THis is based on my personal visits and checking all shops/supermarkets there.

Vatican am not sure if any really circulated.

In Europe= Kosovo has no circulation coins of its own unless you consider the fake 2 Euro coins which are  rampant there. Aland had no circulation coins of its own (the 1991 set was NCLT and withdrawn and the 1994 were officially tokens),The former Denmark coins made for circulation in Faroe Islands do not have any reference to Faroe,Both Montenegro and Liechtenstein coins circulated before the 1920s/WW respectively

Thanks for all the information.   It is all really appreciated. Bren

I bought a 1904 1 Krone for my nephew's world type set.

I paid like $40 for it.

He has 1 coin from nearly 300 different countries.
