Hello,

Can someone help me identify this coin? I've search and I can't even identify which alphabet it is...

Thanks,

Luis

Metal? Diameter? Thickness?
I'm not sure but it looks very much like it's from Nepal.
Definitely not Nepal, but looks like Middle East/West Asia.

Looks more Indian-esque to me...

How's that for differing opinions?

I thought so too. My basic range was ancient Egypt - ancient Mesopotamia.
Hello Everyone,

Those characters are Egyptian hieroglyphs.

I think its a token/medaille.

Actually, those aren't, but they are, however, quite similar.
It looks like a Qarakhanid dirham :

Yeah it kind of looks similar but this one has beading round the square
For me, this symbol is the clue for the identification :

Thanks for the help!

The coin is silver, with ~1mm thickness.

I actually have 4 alike, 3 very similar, and 1 not so similar and with smaller diameter.

I wonder how such coins ended up in my collection...

Don't think it's in the Numista catalog.
