Specialized catalog of Canadian coins?

Can somebody please recommend a good SPECIALIZED catalog of Canadian coins? Printed or online - doesn't really matter... Standard Charlton doesn't give info on all coin variants and I would like to know which are the officially recognized variants and which are more like a seller's fantasy...

Thanks in advance

So many coins... So little time...
The ' Canadian Coin Digest' is quite good and reasonably priced it is issued by Krause, I found my copy on PLAY.COM
I always wanted to be someone, now I realise I should have been more specific.

Thanks a lot, I've been using coinsandcanada.com as my major reference though it doesn't look complete. I was hoping to find a really specialized catalog (like the ones existing in stamp collecting) where at least some consensus has been reached about what should be considered as a variety and what is questionable.

coinsandcanada.com has mostly been my Go To reference as well.
Honestly I'm not quite sure such an animal as the one you seek even exists yet. I do believe, as far as varieties are concerned, that large cents are where the bulk of the work has been done.

Try the following site for those.

Good luck on your quest.

Yes, 1859 large cents catalog is exactly the type of info I am looking for. I am a novice to the more or less serious numismatics though I am an experienced stamp collector. My major numismatic topic is Canadian 1 cent coins  and I must admit I was surprised by the lack of specialized info, especially for the small cents. Maybe I just have to wait for another 100 years to get it published... ;)

I see we share the same passion. The Canadian cent series is a fascinating one to collect. And possibly my main interest besides U.S. coins. Surely you can Google and find many sites but coinscanada.com and vickycents.com are 2 of the top and also the most popular ones currently available online. I find the rest to be just copied information from other catalogs, and aside from giving "basic" information about the series, do not "specialize" in varieties.. Speaking of catalogs I also recommend owning one of Charltons Canadian coin and token catalogs. Its a must to own.   ;)

Oh I almost forgot to mention there is a well known forum for more help on the information you are seeking. here's the link.
