1911-c Sovereign grade?

8 posts
hello,

First, I'd like to say what a fantastic website this is!

I'd be grateful if anyone would share their opinion on what grade and valuation they would give this coin:

It's a beautiful coin to view in person.   Thanks alot.   B)

AU-58 to MS-60.

There are quite a few kicks or bag marks which make it MS-60. There might also be a slight amount of wear, but I cannot tell, so it could be AU-58.
It is a very nice piece!
In these photo's it may look like the dragon/horse is worn, but that is only because of the light/angle of the photo.  There are no wear marks.

This is probably my favourite coin from my small collection.  :)

Cheers guys.
xf because of all the small nicks on it and it has been polished/cleaned. Look at the txt and how dull it looks compared to the rest of the coin, it's a sure sign that's it's been cleaned.
Yeah, I would have to go along with Tony, no better than XF and it's definitely been cleaned. Having said that, it's still a beautiful coin and I wish I had one  :)
