Does anyone know how to tell the difference between the young portrait and old portrait version of this date or a link that shows you.

P.S. That link with the picture also mentions 33 arcs, so I think that is how to tell.

With the older portrait it says there are 34 arcs the younger portrait is extremely rare.

here's the actual coin, at the top of the crown there is a double arc but not sure if this is classed as 2 or 1 arcs. In the link below pictures from castle coins they have advertised it as 33 arcs (picture 23)

I would say that yours is the older as if you look at the chin down towards the neck line you will see a difference,, I have the same problem with the Canadian large cents, and it takes time .
