Do you own or have intentions of buying a platinum coin? Reason I'm asking is I could be the owner of my 1st platinum coin from the Isle of Man. It is this coin but the platinum version is not yet listed.

No, because I only collect circulating coins or circulating commemoratives like the Aussie florins.  I don't think there were ever any circulating platinum coins.
Some of the Russian 19th century coins where platin and circulated.

Why did you have to tell me that? <sigh> another thing to add to my wantlist
My wedding ring is made out of platinum. It looks like silver mixed with steel. This is exactly why the metal never really took off as a means to store value such as gold can. It is a lot stronger though.
I would like to own at least one coin of each metal type made. It is a small list, but a collection point none the less. Probably easy to complete kind of.

There is (That I know of)(Not including plated coins, I mean coins with a solid chunk of that metal):

Copper
Nickel
Zinc
Steel
Aluminum
Iron
Lead
Tin
Bilion
Electrum
Silver
Gold
Platinum
Niobium
Cobalt
Palladium
Ruthenium
Tantalum
Titanium
Iridium
Rhodium

I was just referring to pure coins. I sometimes make hanging picture frames of my coins. So one would maybe be called coin metals, Then one for alloys.

Then you have to take out Electrum (Silver + a bit of gold) and Billon (mostly copper + a bit of silver) too.
I forgot where but I think it was a chemistry shop which sold tokens with all existing metals.

You'd have to take out silver coins too, no circulating coins were 100% silver, they were mostly 50%, 83.5% or 92.5%

You'd also have to take out gold.

999/1000 gold is considered 100% ;) And those coins exist

Unless it's 1000/1000, it isn't 100% to me.
Zulu...nothing is 100% to you. Do you know what .999 means or .925?
