Hello
Were the Poland commemorative communist coins circulating or non circulating?
Coins like this for example:

The mintage figures (millions) were too high to be non-circulating coins.

This one belongs to circulating coins - it was at least for one day available in the NBP, and sometimes also in other banks, at the face value.
It was met in the circulation but the CuNi issues of 50zł (and up) were fast, or immediately, disappearing from circulation – unlike previous 10 and 20 zlotys issues which were in fact circulating.
After denomination we have:
Collector Coins - non-circulating
Occasional Coins (2zl NG , 5zł Discover Poland) - circulating, but usually hard to hind any od them in curculation
Standard Coinage - circulating
