I havea few medals that I want to get into the catalog. What category do the go in? Tokens?

None at all. Exonumia are at the moment not part of Numistas catalogs and I think and personally hope that this does not change.
The token section is already bad enough, I don't want to imagine the exonumia one

Carlos, I have not been here long. But when things get done it is usually when a team member or ref have a passion for it. Look at the moderators of the countries you have medals from. They might have better information and reasoning for you. Dont give up the fight. The Hutt River mafia got their drivel listed after all...

The way I see it is that by definition medals are part of numismatics. You can look that up. Whether or not you like medals, that is your personal opinion, to which anyone is entitled, and its up to you if you want to collect them.
I was asking for a procedure here in numista to get my medals in the collection because I have seen medals in numista. I don't understand what the problem is.

Problem is the token section (which is a mess) and not really clear rules on what is a token and what is not.
