North Borneo 2 1/2 cent valuation please!

Hi, could you please give opinionsome on grade and value for this one?

It's hard to tell from the pic but it looks to be about VF, which would give it a book value of US$50.00. I'm not sure about where you are, but over here the Borneo coins often sell for over catalogue value.

This is such a coincidence!! I just got a bulk lot from the guy I usually buy my coins from and in the middle of the lot was one of these coins, about 1 hour after I'd just looked up the value for you! I'm so pleased. I'll put a pic of mine up when I get home this evening. 20p is a pretty good price, my lot was about £20 but I got a stack of silver and a whole lot of other nice coins in with it.

​I'm not sure why, but in the US (ebay) North Borneo coins are selling for deep discounts relative to catalog price. The last 1903-H 2 1/2 cents coin in similar condition sold for about $13.

It has a Numista rarity rating of only 46 so there's plenty of members that own one, I wonder why they are so expensive.
