Hi everyone! <:D Here, I will be gathering jobs which even ordinary members can help the administration team with.

I found a passion for coins, and for this website, but soon I realised I cannot manage do everything on my own. If fellow referees or anyone else have any idea for CCIP work, do not hesitate to PM me, I can always add it here.

Below is the list of works currently availlable. Please always check if someone did not already declared that he would do something. Let us know in the thread when you are doing to do something. I will try to update this as much as possible, and I will make BOLD those things, that are being take care of by someone.

Please add links to coins in series:

I will do the beginning part of the Shapes, countries A to M
so if someone wants to do some then please start at N. I say that as if you look
now at the list it will show none changed, which will be correct as those I have
already done await verification by the referee.
And write below which you are kindly doing in case after I have finished I
do not make amendments to other's unverified work. :°

P.S. I am only doing those which have a picture, as
would not otherwise know what shape to enter.
First banner raised faster than I thought, thanks Zac! <:D I will be adding more tasks when I encounter them.
Catalogue administrator
OOPs! I had also started on shapes and have gone through H. Also only those with pictures. I will go on to N through the end.
That is ok. I updated the original thread so it would be clearer, that this could be avoided by telling is in the thread. :)
Catalogue administrator
What do we call this shape?

If really in doubt, we can use word irregular. :) This one is classic example of weirdness we have in the catalogue.
Catalogue administrator
Hm, for irregular it's quite regularly formed ... you could call it quadri crescental (8
Quote: "eug"What do we call this shape?

How about " Square with rounded corners and inward curved sides" It's kind of awkward ut does describe the shape.
Quote: "eug"What do we call this shape?

It's an irregular octagon as it has 8 sides.

Are all the shape additions done?
Yes, I believe so.

Little up. z|
Catalogue administrator
Little more up with more tasks to do. <:D
Catalogue administrator
I will work on and crop the tokens that need the "tokens" option checked.
Thanks! <:D

I will start with notgeld to turn off token.

Nice! Thank you!

"Coins that should have "Token" setting set as "NO"": Abkhazia and Seborga - done.
"Tokens that should have "Token" setting set as "YES"": Exonumia - I'll do it . Not a very difficult job.

Identification of State (or ruler) should be in obverse. As there is REPUBLIK ÖSTERREICH ID on 5 Euro side, these should be obverses.

Sure, added now.
Catalogue administrator
Here is a set of coins that need to be added: https://auctions.stacksbowers.com/lots/view/3-250HT

There are lots of Chinese coins that need to be added from Stack's and Bower's. I search by year, I have already finished 1999. Here is the year 2000 search: https://auctions.stacksbowers.com/lots?view=list&sort=relevance&lots_range=past&is_mixed_lot=sometimes&search=2000+china&limit=96&parent_category=1-11EIV

The second coin on that list (2008 2000 Yuan) is already added and waiting for validation.

How would you like me to post new things to add?
Well, since I added this thread, nobody added single coin from the list yet. So I would rather not do pointless work. (I have some other coins-to-be-added in my bookmarks too - list would be so long.)
Catalogue administrator
I have submitted all of the current modification requests.
I see, thank you! <:D

Edit: I have completed all that I could name. Will be asking questions about some shapes.
Do we want to call a 7 sided coins shape "Heptagonal" or "Septagonal". Both terms are correct.
Probably Heptagonal.

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?mode=avance&p=1&r=&e=&d=&ca=3&no=&i=&v=&m=&a=&t=&dg=&w=&g=&f=Septagonal&c=&co=y&cno=y&cc=y&cn=y&cj=y&ce=y&cu=y&cat=y

Catalogue administrator
OK. Heptagonal it is. Do you want to change the coins that are listed as Septagonal to Heptagonal?
That would be the best solution. If you do that, please include link for this thread to the respective referees so they can see this.
Catalogue administrator
What about these? Can't tell how many sides they have.

https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces41357.html
https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces21844.html
I would call them just irregular..
Catalogue administrator
I think that strong consideration should be given to a drop down list to provide consistency to the shapes entries. I think that providing shape names in a drop down list would also help with those shapes that are unusual i.e. not round or square.
Do these coins still need to be submitted or are they just awaiting validation?

Jarek, PM me your e-mail please!

Sorry for not having explained precisely: 'I've made a complete list of missing coins from Alderney. Of course, this list is based on KM 2017 catalogue and may miss some issues, yet still.'

P.S.: That awkward moment when KM lists the illegal 'coins' from British Virgin Islands... those like Novosibirsk Zoo and so on.

I'm not sure where the list of jobs are or wether its the first message being updated, im quite confused at what to do. However I am now starting to fix "Round" typos. :)
Thanks! I update the first post regularly, so what you see there is current job list.
Catalogue administrator
I will connect the series in the first link, the Niue one.
I think I got all the round mis-spells, I have started the capitalizing of Centimes, however if someone wants to jump in there and do some too, I can't do them all right now.
Thank you both, I won't be able to update first post until tomorrow afternoon.
Catalogue administrator
Wow it took a while but I capitalized all the Centimes (and a few other words) on the search you had put in the job list. :) So they are all done and the Round variations :) Quite proud of myself haha.
Ok I've also just completed all the links and connections for numbers 2,3,4,5 and 8 :) xx can't wait to see those tasks taken off the list tomorrow or whenever :) xx
Wow! Thank you! I should add more jobs over the weekend.
Catalogue administrator
No one going to do those Palau commemorative linking? :° They have more than 60 coins in each of the series.

Can you add more stuff to do Jarcek?

Thanks, nthn
Amazing. B. I was just working on it. :D
