Error Penny Thoughts? [solved]

3 posts
I have recently received a 1960 penny with a possible "die error". In the date the 9 and the 6 have "material" joining them.
I have researched and can't find anything regarding this type of error.

Is this common? Any added value? Thanks in advance.

This looks like a real die chip, not sure if it carries any premium as I find these quite often. You can find them any place on a coin.
Those who believe they can do something and those who believe they can't are both right.
