I was marking the now demonetized old Swedish coins and while filling in the date, I noticed that when editing data Numista uses the American dating system MM-DD-YYYY.
However, I haven't seen this anywhere else, and I can already tell this format isn't used everywhere. Looking at other demonetized Swedish coins the catalog uses the almost universal DD-MM-YYYY format.
Could we try to stay coherent with only one format, preferably DD-MM-YYY ?
Thanks.

I might have been unclear of my intentions but want I'm asking for here is primarily for the calatog's main format while editing to change, given that it says MM-DD-YYYY when entering data. I expect members like me to follow the official guidelines but that's a given in my reasoning. Since data has to be verified by staff before validification, I see this as a mostly non-issue, with maybe an occasional error. It seems to me that it might have been changed lately and other pages haven't been corrected or members and staff aren't observant enough.
