This is a list about the 1800's silver coinage that weights over 20g. I triple checked, no coin on this list will cost you a fortune.

Taking a break from swapping for a while, but still interested in pre 1799 Spanish coins, I will make time for that!

Looking for pre 1783 coins

Depends on what you define as a fortune...

For example the 1866-68 Hong Kong Victoria dollar I have was valued at €600

Also I've seen Vereinsthalers, Straits Dollars, 3 Marks that will cost you a fortune. So there are varieties of those that are not affordable for most of us.

Gladly...also, thanks for saying exactly what you'd like instead of asking for one thing and then when you get it complaining because you wanted something else :)
I collect and deal in ancient Roman coin. In case you're looking for affordable ancient coins or need any help with the coins you already have send me a message.
Hmm...I'll think I should next make a list of all the 19th century silver coinage that does not cost much.
Edit! This now is a list of those coins. Only coins over 8 grams are here, but the ones under 8g will be added SOON.
EDIT: Now 7g. I'll take a break now.
That's a very useful topic.

Removed coins that cost a lot.
The whole list is done now, from the smallest maundy penny to the largest prussian double thaler.

Some of the coins are billon, but most are silver.
I suggest if you are going to start collecting the coins on this list, start from the middle. There are a few coins in the smallest ones that can cost up to 40€ on ebay, but the middle ones are pretty cheap (From 5€-about 15€) the hardest to get and most expensive ones are:

2 thaler prussia ~ XF about 200€. This is the most expensive one.
1 peso philippines ~ 70€
1000 reis portugal ~ About 60-100€
1 1/2 rouble ~ 100€+ (bad condition coins are jus under 100€)
German states 5 mark ~ depends what state, 60-1000€.

Some small coins also cost a bit, the württemburg kreuzer can cost up to atleast 80€
