Can we have an option for Gregorian dates in addition to the existing non-Gregorian ones?
Their disappearance is extremely inconvenient for those of us who collect by year. Many earlier years are only (or at least much more easily) available in non-Gregorian dates.
I understand that they were removed in the new version.
I don't actually have that many problems with the new version (it's a lot less horrible than I thought it was from the discussion threads - though I haven't tried actually adding coins yet), but the removal of Gregorian dates really sucks.
Is there any reason why they were removed, and could they be added back?
(Preferably without 100% rolling back to the old version; I don't want to lose the comment types.)

I also ask Xavier to return the Gregorian dates for the other calendars.

Yes, definitely please.
I'm pretty adept at translating between the Arabic (among others) calendar and the Gregorian already after a few years of doing it, but it would be much more convenient for less knowledgeable collectors.

Reported to Xavier already
