Edwardus VII Coronation coin

7 posts
I can't find any information about this coin / token :
it says EDWARDUS VII D.G. BRITT. CORONATION COIN  1902
the back side has the remains of a small ring that was welded onto it, probably to wear it as a pin or so

diameter : 27,4mm, thickness 1,8mm, weight 8g (approx)

Thanks !

"EDWARDVS VII D.G. BRITT. CORONATION COIN" 1902

I typed that in Search on various places, and everyone is asking the same - where is it from? So no answers yet - I did also find the same token with dates 1909 on some and 1911 on others.

Here is another (smaller picture and size 21mm) 1902 token, but with a necklace loop at the top.

P.S. Those images I added I see are a different token though, as it has : colons between letters, whereas yous has . dots - so there is more than one version (of 1902 at least).
Many different Coronation Medals were struck privately all over Britain to commemorate the occasion, normally they state where they were made for, iv never seen one like that before.
Since it's probably a private issue, I guess it's not worth a lot ?
I don't intend to keep it in my collection, if anybody is interested, bids are welcome !  :wiz:
